Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s flagship event that has grown to become the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event.
The recent event took place in Sheffield. One of the thousands of participants running was Sue Barnett, wife of Bumford Heating's Sales Engineer, Ivor Barnett.
Sue along with five colleagues from Yorkshire Bank ran the 5k and joined the 3.4 million women who have raised over £200 million to date, for Cancer Research UK, the leading funder of cancer research in the UK.
